Abstract

To theoretically substantiate and develop a methodology for improving the mobility of the aerobic energy system in qualified track cyclists. Methodology. The study employed analysis of scientific literature, modeling of training loads, and synthesis of practical experience. Scientific Novelty. The author’s interval training methodology based on the "1 min work / 1 min passive rest" scheme is substantiated. It is substantiated that frequent alternation of load and complete recovery ensures maximum amplitude of oxygen consumption fluctuations, training the rate of oxidative process deployment (T₅₀) without excessive acidosis. Conclusions. A model of training load periodization within the annual cycle is proposed , wherein the basic protocol (1 min / 1 min) is modified from the anaerobic threshold level (preparatory stage) to the maximal oxygen uptake level and competitive regimes (pre-competition stage).
