Abstract

Physiotherapy plays a pivotal role in the recovery, rehabilitation, and performance optimization of athletes. Whether recovering from an injury, addressing chronic pain, or enhancing performance, physiotherapy offers specialized treatments and rehabilitation techniques tailored to an athlete’s unique needs. By utilizing a combination of manual therapy, exercise therapy, and modalities such as ultrasound and electrical stimulation, physiotherapists help athletes return to their sport safely and efficiently. This article explores the importance of physiotherapy in the athletic world, focusing on injury prevention, rehabilitation strategies, and performance enhancement.
